Our Services
Saunas
Saunas are very popular and we have designed some very unique ones over the years. Some have our signature Crooked Roofs while others have been built from old water cisterns and turned into barrel saunas. We have also created mobile saunas. We love to use upcycled redwood as accents and use a lot of western red cedar and white cedar for their natural resistance to moisture and antimicrobial properties. Outdoor saunas are a great addition to any home or cabin, especially in the midwest!
Garden Sheds and Outhouses
Our whimsical sheds can also be used as outhouses, garden sheds, potting sheds, or any other outbuilding to spruce up your property. Most varieties can be delivered as entire building units, while the larger ones (any building with a base over 7 feet wide) get too tall to transport in one piece. In these cases, we prefabricate these at my site and move them to your location. Once on-site, we attach the rafters and roofing.
Not Crooked but Still Creative!
We specialize in whimsical crooked roofed buildings but we are always up for interesting projects and new ways to use our creativity. If you have a project that needs some of our creative talents please reach out to us and hopefully we can come up with a design that suits your interest and needs.
Greenhouses
Greenhouses are one of our biggest sellers! Our greenhouses feature many unique accents from stained glass windows, to corrugated steal shakes and other assorted vintage accent pieces. These greenhouses will attract attention and are the perfect fit for any yard or garden. Each greenhouse is uniquely crafted and are as unique as they are useful.
Playhouses
It is such a great opportunity to design and build something that makes a child smile. We are grateful for that opportunity and many times have named them and written a poem about the adventures their children will have. We have created cool castle-looking buildings and small bunkhouses. On some projects, we have even crafted driftwood railings.
Chicken Coops
With urban chicken coops becoming more popular, we are happy to design something that is quite different from your traditional chicken coop. Our very first design was featured on Twin Cities Live at the Home and Garden Show in 2020.
